We are a small family owned business located in Lewistown, PA. Making kombucha is something I feel passionate about. For several years I made kombucha in my home for ourselves and a few friends and family. Over time, Loren (my husband) encouraged me to get my license and start selling to the public-and Wild Water Kombucha was born! We started in November 2017 and now have over 15 locations around central Pennsylvania that carry our product. Being part of a community who values and supports small and local businesses is one of the greatest aspects of my “job.” We hope you enjoy our kombucha, and thank you for your support!

What is Kombucha?
Kombucha is a fermented tea made from tea (we use organic black tea) and a culture (called a “SCOBY,” which stands for Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast). After several weeks of fermentation, the culture is removed and various fruits and herbs are added for flavor.
Why should I drink Kombucha?

- has antimicrobial/antibacterial effects that may help fight infections
- beneficial for the cardiovascular system
- contains B vitamins (particularly b-12, known to increase energy levels and contribute to mental well-being)
How much Kombucha should I drink?
We recommend that you start out drinking 4-8 oz of Kombucha on an empty stomach 1-2 times a day, followed by plenty of water to flush out toxins. Over time, you can increase the intake as your body craves it.
What are those “strings” or “jellyfish” in my Kombucha?
During the fermentation process and even after bottling, the bacteria continues to flourish and produces a by-product of the fermentation. This gel- like mass of cellulose, often resembling a jellyfish, is completely harmless and can be consumed or discarded.
How long will my Kombucha last in the fridge?
If your kombucha is refrigerated, it will be fine for several months; however, it will continue to ferment very slowly and will gradually turn more tart or “vinegary” over time.
What makes Wild Water Kombucha unique?
We use simple ingredients for our kombucha: organic black tea, raw organic cane sugar, and flavored with fruits and herbs that are grown from local farms and orchards.
Instead of tropical flavors, you will find a combination of different varieties of berries, fruits, and herbs in our kombucha- we want our ingredients to be as locally sourced as possible, thus supporting neighboring businesses and in return, bringing a healthy alternative beverage to various locations in Pennsylvania.
